The Trans-Pacific Partnership is like NAFTA on steroids!

“The TPP was written in secret by industry insiders who care more about corporate profits than working Americans! Fast tracking the TPP would railroad this bad bill through Congress, with limited debate, before Congress can even read the fine print.”

– WorkingFamilies.org

The TPP is the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement. If passed by Congress (it’s up for vote in the House right now), it will wreak havoc on things we need to protect, including the American labor force, environmental laws meant to mitigate global warming, and national sovereignty. It will also increase the power of giant multi-national corporations like Monsanto. It’s just bad all around.
